below freezing & snowed in.. more snow for the weekend.. i love it though..
comet mcnaught is visible flying over mt. hood early in the a.m.s and the beaches look unbelievable here covered in snow..
today is our 20th wedding anniversary.. bdhp & me.. crazy, huh? we exchanged gifts and have a cozy weekend planned.. at least we've always known we'd never abandon each other.. that's big.. and we still love each other even after all the insanity.. answered prayer in the nick of time with my throat problem.. praying for little pac-man style antibodies to attack it musta worked.. it's disappearing after 2 months of worry just before my appt. for biopsy where they would've knocked me out.. talk about going back to therapy again.. isolation is turning me into saladfingers..
but no therapist is gonna help me as i endeavor to adjust to life without other humans..
smith for today: in the lost & found
he held his breath to hold your hand
to walk the stairsteps in pairs
climbing up a slippery slope
i'm in love, well i hope
don't go home, angelina
stay with me..
hanging around in the lost & found
kissed you quick feeling weird
lonely leaved and disappeared
this is such a simple place
passing time can't erase
don't go home, angelina
paint tomorrow blue
day breaks and every morning when he wakes
he thinks of you
i'm alone, that's okay, i don't mind
most of the time
i don't feel afraid to die
she was here passing by
don't go home, angelina
stay with me..
hanging around in the lost & found
stay with me..
hanging around in the lost & found..

why is the sky blue?
There is a physical phenomenon called Rayleigh scattering that causes light to scatter when it passes through particles that have a diameter one-tenth that of the wavelength (color) of the light. Sunlight is made up of all different colors of light, but because of the elements in the atmosphere the color blue is scattered much more efficiently than the other colors.
So when you look at the sky on a clear day, you can see the sun as a bright disk. The blueness you see everywhere else is all of the atoms in the atmosphere scattering blue light toward you. (Because red light, yellow light, green light and the other colors aren't scattered nearly as well, you see the sky as blue.)
i just found this interesting..
so why is the sky white?
