this large vintage gumby for president button was a promotional item in conjunction with the release of fhe's gumby for president vhs videotape ~

from 1987 ~

i'm also fortunate to have this vintage gumby for president t-shirt from 1983 ~

i'm fortunate because this cool item was generously donated to gumbyland for safekeeping ~

art clokey ~

& is in fact signed on the back by art clokey back in the 80's when he gave talks around the college circuit in california ~

toxic attended an honors geology course down at lbcc in socal at the time & was heartbroken to realize she'd missed art clokey's talk there, so this item feels like a missing piece.. a lost & found item in spirit ~

flashback friday favorite ~ radiohead

i've been thinking how much i would love a new radiohead album just about now, so this flashback friday favorite post is all radiohead, from mother's day 2016..

ok, so today the new & possibly last radiohead album is supposed to drop & i can't think of anything that would make me happier for mother's day! so my focus is all radiohead today, as i've been obsessed with them from the very beginning.. i even have a radiohead themed playroom for goodness sake ~

of course i have all the cds & dvds & i used to get all the rares from a little shop in belmont shore called fingerprints back in socal ~

the king of limbs, in rainbows vinyl & the universal sigh ~

stanley donwood's kid a & amnesiac books ~

vhs, ephemera & promo items ~

pins, badges & buttons ~

my test specimens page ~

i've just listened to the new album, a moon shaped pool, & i really love the ending of the video for daydreaming ~

by the way, have you been to my art gallery? ~
