pez dispensers

everyone loves pez dispensers, even if it's a clown like this one ~

they're all over my toyroom shelves ~

toxic used to buy a new pez dispenser every time she went to her local farrell's ice-cream parlour for a birthday or lunch date ~

but like most of her toys they were lost over the years ~

so now i pick them up wherever i find them ~

especially the halloween ones ~

i like to remember halloween even when it's summer, as you can tell by the highlight posts in the sidebar ~

my favorite halloween pez dispensers are the ones that glow in the dark ~

sometimes i pick them up new ~

but vintage is even better ~

these are great ~

i like the oddball ones best ~

a giant one with standard eeyore dispenser for comparison ~

so i am a booknerd ~

& i am missing going to my usual friends of the library book sales that i've posted here before ~

so i've been using my online library & checking into various bookclubs & e-books ~

something i've done for years is make my own laminated bookmarks :) ~

either by laminating interesting paper ephemera like these old pez instructions & lenore, etc ~

or when i would print photos for scrapbooking i'd use the edges to print favorite images like these alice scenes ~

i have a whole box of them now ~

kitties, halloween, vintage ephemera & my own art & photography images ~

old tv guide pages.. lol ~

even the backs are fun ~

here's an old favorite one i created ~

'va manger tes morts'! (in case you want to curse someone out but still sound kinda classy) ~

ironically now that i have more than sufficient bookmarks i'm actually getting into audiobooks instead ~

these are still waiting to be laminated ~

so for the month of september i hope you'll join me here at the lost & found ~

as i post oldschool books from our toyroom library & fun toys that i've acquired recently as i succumb to helpless bored-shopping ~

flashback friday favorite ~ wacky pack collector's album

there wouldn't have ever been garbage pail kids without wacky packs first ~

i keep a bunch in this collector's album so i can take them everywhere ~

hey it's tragedy ann & scumby! ~

toxic loved wacky packs ~

one fish two fish red fish dead fish & prez dispenser barfing up some brocolli ~

toxic bought wacky packs for a nickel each way back in the late 70s ~

count funkula & tv ghoul ~

like gpks topps are still making these.. this album has cards from all eras ~

much to parents' dismay & like every other kid, toxic picked a door at her house to stick all her wacky pack stickers on ~

where they were eventually painted over because They Never Come Off! ~

good old cigarettes, toxic smoked all these brands & more, yikes ~

hostile thinkies & afterlife cereal ~

for any oddball items i may have neglected to post ~

i always enjoy eyeballs. these mr snuffleupagus has on light up & change colors ~

& they're nice & fluffy ~

back in the 80s i learned to juggle using this old beanbag hamburger ~

the beanburger is long gone ~

but i still have the instructions lying around ~

i know that somewhere my mantenna is hiding ~

where are you, mantenna? ~

current status: lost ~

this poor vintage bugs bunny has had his ears chewed off ~

this rubber chicken emits a bloodcurdling scream when squeezed that use to make my kitties nearly pee themselves ~
