it's october, our favorite time of the year, & the halloween countdown!

we'll have all halloween, ghosts & monsters here this month, starting with a week of universal & classic monsters. first up, dracula, of course, because we're partial to bela ~

bela himself stands about 8" tall ~

so i chose to order the mutant menace deck, there are others too ~

this set comes with all you need to start playing ~

flashback friday - mcnugget buddies

for flashback friday it's classic mcnugget buddies from the old days in a post from years back ;) mcdonald's always seems to give out good halloween prizes in their kid's meals, like these chicken mcnugget buddies from 1992 ~

a ghost ~

a witch ~

count dracula ~

a jack-o-lantern ~

frankenstein monster ~

mummy ~

but there were lots of other non-halloween chicken mcnugget buddies from the late 80's on as well, & you could mix & match their outfits however you wanted ~

later in the 90's there were also these halloween prizes, this time they're classic mcd characters in their costumes ~
