i especially like the little ghost ~

the kool toyz hidden adventure castle playset ~

tiny knights, horses & dragon etc ~

a more girly-girl alternative is the fairy castle ~

called the blue box tiny dreams fairy castle playset ~

with treasure, carriage & white horses ~

& different decor ~

final fantasy XVI

more final fantasy today, this time it's raven's playthrough of the new final fantasy XVI ~

the 2 eikons of fire, phoenix & ifrit ~

eikon of ice, shiva & titan, the eikon of earth ~

final fantasy XVI's story heavily centers around the eikons or summons, as they're more well known ~

garuda, the eikon of wind ~

the main character, clive, alongside his brother joshua & childhood friend, jill ~

this is torgal, clive's canine companion, he's adorable ~

clive's father, the archduke of rosaria on his white chocobo steed ~

of course, it wouldn't be final fantasy without cid ~

flashback friday favorite ~ final fantasy

the most successful of all the original nes rpg fantasy games was final fantasy ~

with its extensive explorer's handbook ~

again you assemble your own party of 4 from your choice of fighters & mages ~

& start exploring the world looking for items & treasure ~

& solving quests you encounter along the way ~

i played this game completely several times ~

once with my son along ~

they are still making final fantasy games to this day ~

i think they're on ff 15 ~

& my son has played tham all ~

in fact they are his favorites ~

but it all started with this classic original nes game ~

it came with a world map ~

with a creature chart on the reverse ~

but i still found myself making maps ~

don't step on the hot lava! ~

charts ~

even the music from this game becomes very memorable & nostalgic ~

my main character was always cat the red mage ~

using both black & white magic ~

wizard castle playset

it was 10 years ago when i first posted about my son's old knight's castle playset & its counterpart fairy castle ~

it was very popular as lots of people remembered them & commented or were looking for them ~

so when the opportunity came up for me to add the rare haunted castle version to my collection i did :D ~

at that time we learned there was yet another one out there, like the haunted castle that was only available in europe, uk & australia ~

here it is! the wizard's castle ~

blue box hidden adventures mint in box from the 90's ~

now i was very tempted to open this up, but seeing as this version does not have sound effects like the haunted version & is sealed tight i decided to leave it perfect ~

it has tiny wizard & unicorn characters that are unique to this set, as well as a dragon, furniture, tree monster & haunted well that resemble the other sets ~

secret compartments! ~

& ghosts! :o ~
