happy birthday mr dad

it's my husband's birthday today ~

we have a tradition at our house of creating our own cards ~

so i thought i'd share this old card my son & i made for mr dad way back in 1997 ~

using an old software program called storybook weaver ~

it's an original story ~

we called it hunting for weird buffalo ~

dan & i are in the story ~

along with several animal characters ~

it has an early videogame feel ~

& of course a quacking skeleton with big eyes ~

riddles! ~

it seems i've abandoned my young son out in the wild? ~

of course there's a hobbit ~

sorcerers & witches ~

magical hotdogs ~

it's a musical too ~
