weird wednesday ~ audiocassettes

happy weird wednesday :D ~

ahh, good old analog media ;) ~

i still treasure all my old audiocassette tapes ~

some i have hanging up on the wall & some are stored along with our vintage vinyl in this old icebox :) ~

i also keep my old weird tape briefcase there ~

covered in worn out mysterious stickers ;) ~

i've posted about many of these before here at the lost & found ~

i was taping dr demento way back in the 80s regularly ~

& making my own disturbing weird mixtapes :D ~

my son had his own tape player when he was small ~

& so had his own collection of tapes ~

everything from sesame street & disney to halloween <3 ~

& he went on to make his own demented mini tapes! ~

i even have mixtapes from my parents like classical & andrea bocelli :) ~

& some audiobooks on tape too ~

slyvia plath ~

& oldschool radio ~

war of the worlds ~

i must've picked these up at a library or yardsale? ~

thankfully much of these i transferred to cd &/or digital years ago so they're not lost ~
