flashback friday favorite videogames ~ alice

so for this flashback friday i'm revisiting what are perhaps my favorite videogames of all time ~

american mcgee's alice & alice madness returns ~

i related way too well with this more mature alice & in fact had it pointed out to me more than once my resemblance to her ;) ~

i began playing the original american mcgee's alice game on pc many many years ago ~

but lost playability when i updated my pc to xp! :o ~

i waited years for the eventual release of american mcgee's alice madness returns on the xbox console :D ~

during which time i sought out every cool related figure & collectible i could find :D ~

madness returns included a working copy of the original game as well so i could play it again to the end! ~

i ended up playing madness returns over & over all the way up to nightmare difficulty!! ~

with my special cheshire cat, snug, beside me all the way <3 ~

i was a patreon patron of american mcgee's & played my small role in product development help on his mysterious products, which i've of course posted generously about here at the lost & found before ~

i must say, like him i was crushed when the alice asylum game development ended without coming to fruition, but i hold out hope that maybe someone will take up the project & develop it at last? ~
