welcome, october ~

starting off this halloween month with a cool new game i want to play ~

lies of p (based on the classic pinocchio story by carlo collodi) ~

i'll be heading into this game come wintertime ;) ~

but for now let's check out some of raven's screenshots ~

this game has the look & feel of a from software game ~

very bloodbornesque ~

& if it also has the feel of an american mcgee's alice game that's because some of the artists who created those games worked on this game too ~

you play as geppetto's puppet ~

as with all souls games finding checkpoints is important (in this game they're called stargazers) ~

our first goal is to get to hotel krat which is one of the few safe places in the city ~

we were called there by a mysterious person named sophia ~

one really cool mechanic in this game is that you collect music to make yourself more human.. (& spoiler! there's a kitty!!!) ~

p.s. this game also makes me think of one of my favorite rare oldies that i played all the way to the end, the city of lost children ;)
