gumbyland & the ghost gallery are now 25 years along, & i thought today i'd introduce you to some of the characters featured in the ghost gallery hallways & invite you to open up your laptop & crank up the sound for a vintage inner kid exhibition not unlike falling down a rabbithole ;) ~
so besides the obvious, gumby is there, & emily the strange & other recognizable classic characters ~
like alice & dorathy & all their friends ~
but the ghost gallery for the most part is filled with characters of my own, like annie sparkleheart ~
& the closet skeleton ~
these art installations with music & often associated photo albums i like to call dollscapes <3 ~
there are too many to list here ~
but you can click here to go to my ghost gallery at my gumbyland website ~
be sure to have your speakers on (phones disable this so try a laptop) ~
& join my strange ghost world ~
if you are curious ~
you can meet the toyroom characters for yourself ;) ~
in their various hiding places ~
what is the secret of my ghost gallery? ~
click the links in this post for select pages ~
or just come visit the ghost gallery for much much more ~
note: sound is essential! please don't bother without it ~
p.s. there are also pages dedicated to nature albums or mini houses as well ~
Wow! 25 years! Happy Anniversary to the Ghost Gallery and Gumbyland! Your artistic abilities amaze me Bren! You can draw and paint and write and....! And you're a videographer and photographer, I love your toy photos and nature photos too. Your paintings are incredible. I always wonder what you can't do creatively and artisticly. Oh, and your mini houses you build!. You are SO talented! I don't think I saw your doll drawings in the Doll Chest before today. I found you through Gumby and Gumbyland, but there is so much more here to explore and see....Thank you for sharing your amazing work and talents and your collections and knowledge. I always enjoy my visits. <3
