ghost closet antifashion ~ emu

yay! it's xmas eve & we have snow, like much of the country right now ~

& the ghost closet antifashion show continues ~

first i thought i'd explain why i'm always wearing pants with all kinds of pockets & stuff on them ~

as an early collector, toxic (my inner kid) loved her jeans with multiple pockets all over them for storing coin machine trinkets, seashells or interesting pebbles, & later we often wore cheap army surplus fatigues, also with many pockets, back in the days of expensive designer jeans, so our antifashion tastes began early in life.. i'd also wear a fatigue hat covered in pins & buttons ~

& have i mentioned how in elementary school my best friend & i formed an emu club? we loved emus & we would yell 'emu!' from every strange place we could find, whether it was on the upside-down part on the loop trainer ride at knott's berry farm, or while jumping in the school carnival bounce-house.. toxic was always drawing them, she called them emus & juancs (spanish for honk!) ;) ~

so i made sure i had my own emu shirt before it became popular ~

i've always felt like an odd bird ;) ~

& a sticker! <3 adding my prayers for emmanuel the emu who is still recovering from bird flu, hoping for a full recovery.. 'gone away is the bluebird (twitter?) here to stay is a new bird.. emmanuel!' ~
