Oh, I love the tiny dolphin box that you put the tiny seashells in that I sent to you! <3 I needed to see this today and it made me smile! With my legs and back as bad as they've been, I've been wondering if I'll ever be able to look for these tiny shells again. Winter is the best time, so maybe by then, I'll be able to. I love your pine cones and feathers too! I used to pick up tiny pinecones at my mom's. Thanks for including me in your post today, Bren. <3

That would be cool, Bren! With the gas prices and traffic nowadays, it may still be very challenging. I still dream of going back in time, not only to go to the stores and yard sales to find cool toys and collectibles, but to travel when gas was cheaper, places were less crowded, the air was cleaner, places and beaches were more unspoiled and unknown..that would be amazing! Nowadays, even the mustard flowers I like to photograph on the coast were full of people taking photos and selfies and one farm was even charging people to go on their land to take photos....

sally, i know the feeling, last drive we made up to our local falls (the columbia river gorge is like our big backyard! it was so packed with people & cars we got stuck in a traffic jam! even with my mask on in the bigfootmobile i felt claustrophobic :O we've been so spoiled all the years of having these places to ourselves in the off seasons & all, but after all the fires so much has been devastated.. :( i'm so glad we took extensive home movies of our drives & tons of photos, it's like a time machine going back.. & yeah i think back to all the estate sales i waited in line hours for sometimes, summer yardsales, collectible shops, glad we did all those fun things when we did.. it's like everything in its season.. now it's a new chapter, not sure what we'll be able to do going forward you know?
