ending gumby week here with a cool update to gumbyland ~

i finally added the gumby series 1 kubrick set :D ~

with all the best gumby toys included ~

the special rare in this set is this astronaut gumby ~

now these guys are on my toyroom shelf along with several of the series 2 figures that i posted about here ~

i still have a series 2 tara mint in her plastic to trade if anyone has a astronaut pokey, thinbuckle or nobuckle in decent shape to trade? ~

at first i thought these kubricks would be like legos, you know small & sharp? ~

but i was pleasantly surprised, they are larger & rounded & well articulated ~

i love them! ~

OMG! First of all, Congrats Bren! Second of all, this is too funny, because I got some of these for you to save for your birthday and Christmas! HaHa! Oh well! I will have extras now to sell or trade! As soon as I can get to them, I will see if I have any of the 3 that you mentioned you still need! The funny thing is that I didn't want any of these at first, but once I got them, I thought they were so cute and I love them too! <3 <3 <3

sally! you're very sweet!! yeah i have waited Years thinking maybe these would go down in price or i'd find them easily, but that was not the case, so when i found the whole first series from japan i just jumped. aren't they wonderful? they remind me of fp little people, the oldies not the weird new ones.. <3 they retain value too, do you have tara? i have that extra if you want her.. ;)

Ok, just checked, because I haven't moved them to storage yet, since I haven't had them long enough (am going to put mine on a shelf in here and put the other duplicates in storage). I have the Western Gumby mint in package with his rope without a box though, but not the other two you still need. Will keep him out and not move to storage and will save for you, but will check with you to make sure you didn't get him before sending him as a gift.:D It's so hard to find things you don't already have! HaHa! :D

sally if you want to trade western gumby for tara still in her plastic i'd love to? (i'd open up cowboy gumby anyway of course!!) i'm stuck here in my room for a bit while mr dad installs glass doors on the a of e, because Alice Discovered the Toys!!! lolol

I don't need Tara, so no worries. I will send Western Gumby as an Easter gift to you (and no gift need to be sent in return!). I like adding to Gumbyland if I can abd seeing your posts. Just a way of thanking you for having this blog for me to enjoy. <3
