it's cd sunday again ~

this is the joni mitchell album that first got my attention as a young girl ~

i'd listen to my older sister's vinyl records at her apartment & find such good music that way ~

btw, happy birthday caren ;) ~

now joni's a kennedy center honoree <3 ~

some of her older songs hold such powerful associations for me ~

& i've included some of them in my albums & ghost gallery pages ~

like here in my rainy day time machine ~

joni is also an artist/painter ~

i especially love this 50th anniversary watercolor art version done of the very special song 'river' ~
