it's been too long since i posted a gumby toy ~
so here's my latest addition to gumbyland :) ~
this gumby plush is only 9" tall ~
& he bends just like a rubber bendy toy ~
from toyzon & prema 2020 ~

HaHa! I love it! I purchased some of those, but they're still not here yet (from a Groupon special!) Thought they would be cute xmas gifts and also for me to play with too, but they're coming DHL and are slower than slow arriving, so not going to be xmas gifts, since doubtful they'll arrive on time, but oh well and now you have already too! HaHa!.... I like the photos that came with the listing for them bent in different positions. I don't like to bend up my vintage 80's too much and wrinkle up the material HaHa! Funny thing is, I've never liked the Clayboy reference and pose, because it reminds me too much of Playboy and I don't like sexualizing gumby like some do, like those t-shirts that I hate HaHa! I still can't believe that Gumby Central sells some of that stuff in their store when it was open. Anyway, so I didn't really like the packaging for these, but loved the photos that were posted with the sales listing, so cute! So I bought them mainly because of their marketing photos! HaHa!

yeah i'm not crazy about the clayboy thing either..
i like this guy but for a change i left him in his packaging since i was able to take him out of the box & photo him ok & then just put him back inside..

Oh, love them! <3 Shipping is showing $35 though to me! Yikes! $42 for all those is not bad though, but with tax and the shipping added it would be over $80. I usually wasn't into the plush as much because I worry about bed bugs, but after seeing all of those cute plush sold in Japan, I had to have some! So I have some smaller ones from there and a smaller US Prickle, but not a larger one. Maybe I should get? HaHa! I have only one 80's size Pokey and both Blockheads and a few Gumby (the US ones) in addition to my larger one that I purchased new in the 80's,I have 2, but I have Goo and Minga from Japan, but not both the Blockheads. So, I guess now I have a plush collection in addition to a bendy collection! HaHa! I should not have looked at those book photos in the Japan book, because I fell in love with those small plush! So cute!

Yes, it is. That other lot I got had 8 smaller plush toys (4 I wanted and 4 I didn't).
Did those Groupon listing photos influence your purchase too like they did mine?! =) :D I thought that $10.99 with free shipping was a good deal! =)
The Prickle I got looks like yours in the box and is in good shape, but I think the seller had them out and then just put back in with the twisty ties. Is yours large or smaller? The one I got is smaller and I got with a lot with Gumby, Pokey, Goo, Minga and one of the Blockheads. The other smaller ones have cardboard tags, but no boxes, but not sure how they were packaged. I think in plastic bags only maybe. I only got one of the Blockheads with that set too. I love them. Can't believe that I love all of this newer stuff so much! Surprised me! Ok, almost 2 pm and not showered and haven't eaten. I got my mom dressed and fed and have gotten her back from the bathroom a few times already, but have done nothing for myself. yep, $10.99 had to snag it, although you see they squashed the corner of the box a bit? free shipping means a soft mailer, hope yours is good?
the prickle i posted in 2017 is just under a foot tall, he's slightly fuzzy, i notice that mercari prickle appears smooth, probably a different one?

I'll let you know how mine were packed and arrived when they finally get here. I didn't think it would take this long. I ordered on the 28th of November and thought that would be plenty of time to mail for xmas after they got here, but last I checked they had finally arrived at a DHL place in Union City, which is about an hour away with traffic and has been there for the last 4 or 5 days! :/
I've been what you call bored shopping (and I call stress or binge buying!) way too much! =(
I'm glad your migraine is better and hope responding to my messages didn't aggravate it!
Will check in this weekend to look for your cat tree! =)

me too sally.. i feel guilty.. but i'll get over it.. lol yeah i'm afraid the migraine came back on full tilt & i'm trying to fight it off with measely acetaminophen which is all i tolerate, don't worry it's not you! i realized it's the full moon tonight, so preoccupied i hadn't known it was approaching, always a migraine risk for me! still i'd like to photo it with the winter constellations & jupiter, saturn & venus right there.. unfortunately we've been too foggy for moonshots..

Hi Bren, Forgot to let you know mine arrived (and came in a box, not a bag, since I ordered more than one since they were supposed to be for some gifts, but did not arrive in time to send out and then I got wore out and wouldn't have gotten them sent anyway....) some corners were damaged like they were dropped. They were smaller than I pictured in my mind. I rolled and bent one up in a ball to play with. Little alice would love it I'm sure. I could use a kitty right now. Haha! I know she's getting lots of love right now! Enjoy her! Thanks again for your support. ttyl =)

sally my dr literally told me 'get a kitty!' when she heard my story.. <3 little alice met the ostrich puppet toy today, she was fearless, hugged it & kissed it! loves toys & each of us.. i kinda like this smaller size plush bendable gumby, different, you know?

:D I can picture it! :D That ostrich puppet is so cool! (I love the frog too, but that puppet is the coolest! =)) I love kitties so much, but I think it's best for me to wait. I've been taking care of animals and people my entire life until I finally broke ignoring taking care of myself, so I need to make sure I can still take care of myself and see how that goes, because it wouldn't be fair to get a kitty to make myself feel better if I can't provide for it and give it the life I would like to, you know? <3

i also had to weigh our sad kittyless state against my ability to handle a young rambunctious kitty again :D
for years now we've been used to our sweet old lady girls who were sooo good!! & snug was definitely my 'therapy kitty'.. who helped me immeasurably.. i have noticed when little alice sleeps beside me now i fall asleep much faster, like i've been low on alpha waves or something all this time? lol <3
