more vintage toy ads today ~
this time with a focus on gumby bendys & toys :D ~
jeep, electric drawing desk, rollers, outfits.. (hey there's playnts too!) ~
but also some toys i don't have up at gumbyland (yet!) ~
just check out that set with all gumby's adventure outfits, & wow, the western gumby marshal playset!!! ~
besides the gumbymobile & the very weird mr potato head's picnic!? :p (hey, i have that shoe..) ~

a flashback friday favorite post from 2013 today: i'm very happy because i just snagged these cool vintage pokey riding sticks on ebay ~
both styles are made by lakeside from 1966 ~
they're in such nice shape with straps intact & all ~
one rolls on a wheel & the other has a ball on the bottom ~
both jingle as they move ~
with plastic heads with wooden sticks, they're about a yard tall ~
lakeside industry markings underneath ~
they are only very slightly different, which may be just differences in wear ~
they have come home to gumbyland ~
