I always wanted to do scrapbooking as an adult, but it's just always been on my list of all the things that I haven't gotten around to doing or trying yet! It always reminds me of the collages I made as a kid with the cut outs from magazines and newspapers glued all over a piece of cardboard. Not sure I have any saved any more or if I tossed them all. I had kept a lot of my art work from childhood, but threw quite a bit of it away too.

i started out many years ago doing an ancestry album & got hooked, from then on all our family photos & outings became scrapbooks, but like with so many other things space finally became an issue.. lol :D
fortunately i have a bunch of toxic's old artwork because my mom saved anything that was paper..

My mom had kept so many cute paper items from school too. I threw mine out one day (from kindergarten on up, all my grade school stuff that was stored in a musty old trunk of hers!), because it smelled so bad and it was a day that I just couldn't deal with handling stuff and having a reaction to it like I do so many other things. Like my children's books, I have days that I regret it. I should've tried to save it with kitty litter or baking soda at least before tossing it! Some of it that I had saved in my dresser drawer when I was young wasn't as smelly, HaHa! so I probablay still have some things in storage. I love it that people make albums like you did, but I don't have anyone to pass mine on to if I had made any! I shouldn't have let that stop me though, because someone (a stranger) could've loved it if it ended up in a thrift store and not tossed when I'm not here. I love old photos and cards, etc. that belonged to people I don't know. =)
