flashback friday favorite ~ toy castles & haunted castle

this is a special flashback friday favorite post i've been wanting to share for awhile now, and a commenter here at the lost & found has provided me the perfect opportunity. i first posted this pair of toy castle playsets back in november of 2013 & it has become one of the most popular toys on my site, so many remember these castles & are looking for them. i'm reposting them here, but be sure to check out all the comments back on the original post here.. what make this an even cooler post is that someone found another version, in fact a haunted castle set that i never knew existed, & his photos are here at the end of the post just in time for halloween!!! so read on..

keeping on with the medieval theme a little bit longer, this little mini castle playset is from the 90's ~

it's crawling with monsters! tiny werewolves, vampires & mummies! ~

he even has the original box ~

from around 2004 bluebox toys, ordered from an argos catalogue ~

with graveyard & open graves, spooky tree, light & sound, there's a skull in the well!! what a gem, this makes my halloween this year ~
