cats & dolls are 2 of my favorite things :) ~

this vintage book has plenty of both ~

this copy is an old school library book from 1976 ~

gretel is tasked with cleaning up her aunt ada's house ~

but she discovers it's full of mischievous cats & dolls ~

they play tricks on her & lock her out of the house ~

she tells them she'll make them tea & fishcakes ~

she gives them a tea party & tells them a story ~

& them tucks them all in ~

won't aunt ada be pleased ~
