cabbage patch dolls were really the first big toy collecting craze that i remember ~

back in the very early 80s my niece had one & i remember parents waiting in line to get to them in toy stores ~

cabbage patch dolls all have an xavier roberts creator signature ~

made by coleco toys ~

down in socal we even used to pass by a cabbage patch doll 'clinic' in a place we shopped at called hobby city ~

i've posted cabbage patch related items here before ~

i've always been more of an american girls fan myself ~

i think the cabbage patch kids phenomenon set the tone for crazes from pound puppies to pokemon, & even american girls dolls ~
