not the type of coloring book i usually post, but well worth mentioning ~
you are here.. an owner's manual for dangerous minds ~
coloring books for grown-ups have become hugely popular nowadays ~
up until now i haven't picked up any, preferring to use the quarantine area of my own gallery for self-expression ~
then a friend told me about jenny lawson, the bloggess ~
& i picked up a bundle of her 3 books ~
i'll still use my own art as my kind of therapy, but just reading this cool coloring book helped me through one of my bad migraine days ~
jenny lawson is a riot, & a treasure for those of us dealing with 'interesting' lives due to depression or anxiety, chronic pain, etc ~
i read her book, furiously happy first ~
as someone with a fine appreciation for dark humor, this is a blast, & i found myself giggling madly & telling my guys about her various adventures & mini stories often, usually leaving them kinda wondering.. ~
now i'm reading let's pretend this never happened, her bio.. i guess i read them in reverse order? whatever, it's all good.. lol, i thought i had an interesting childhood.. ~
all worth checking out.. if you feel like a bit of a misfit or outsider, or are also someone dealing with these kind of issues you might even like my Other blog, where i ruminate over all things dark & psychological..
