something special for vinyl friday today ~
yesterday was my birthday & this was my birthday present ~
opens it up, my precious! ~
it's radiohead, vintage & new! ~
on this 20th anniversary of ok computer, here is oknotok 1997 - 2017 ~
the special boxed edition :D ~
i am such a radiohead-head it's silly, so this is exciting ~
it includes ok computer remastered on vinyl + a bonus album with some newly released songs & a huge art book ~
stanley donwood's & dr tchock's (thom yorke) artwork that i've always loved & related to ~
& that immediately became my new laptop desktop background ~
it also includes 2 more books of thom's notes & journals.. he's prolific that way (me too) ~
as well as a cassette tape packed with treasures ~
& lyrics, which are wonderful, as thom's not really known to enunciate ~
this made it worth being another year older ~
i've had my head & psyche immersed in radiohead ever since the very beginning ~
our playroom is radiohead themed & my online art gallery is positively soaked in radiohead, i've posted my radiohead t-shirt collection here & here as part of 2015's spring fashion month, since i basically lived in them for fully a decade or more.. we took our son to see them at the hollywood bowl in 2001, his first concert at age 13.. i could go on & on.. anyway, We Love Radiohead. ~
