New Gumby Comic Book #1 Collector's Item Issue!!

Hey Gumby fans!!

The new comic books are coming!!! ~

Ok so my inner child has been jumping up & down spazzing out waiting to post ever since my Gumby friend, Jeff Whitman, over at Papercutz Graphic Novels, sent me the new Gumby comic book #1 to review!! Up until now I've been getting tantalizing sneak peeks like these ~

First of all this comic book is fantastic, & I'm not just saying that, I think I'm someone who should know.. 

For one thing, this issue captures the personalities we've come to know & love so well that reading the word balloons I soon realized I was hearing it all in the voices of Gumby & Pokey & Tara & Minga :D ~

& it's so nice to catch up on old friends! ~

Cool vintage characters are back & shine like never before, most notably right off are the moon creatures in Jeff's story "An Alien Abundance." Personal favorites of mine that harken right back to the heart of the original episode that captured my imagination so long ago ~

Rick Geary does the first cover & there's a story illustrated by Kyle Baker (with a kitty that causes some trouble!) ~

Then sink your teeth into "The Land of Ice Cream" written by Ray Fawkes of Batman fame ~

This collector's item issue is guaranteed to please vintage Gumby fans like myself,

& it's sprinkled with fun insider tidbits for us to find! 

But updated & totally accessible & appealing to kids & new Gumby fans too..

The best of the comic books we've seen, Art Clokey is surely smiling down on these new adventures ~

Remember to hit your local comic book store on July 5th before they're gone!!
