another vintage family board game today ~
a classic ~
toxic's grandma always loved to play scrabble best so there was often a game going on at our diningroom table ~
this old version with the wooden tiles is the one i'll always remember ~
now i find that the wooden letter tiles are in just about every vintage collectible shop i go to ~
one of the more educational games in the house ~
it will always remind me of my grandmother ~
the only games we played more often at our house were card games ~
my grandmother was a pro at j, q & z words ~
that's where the points were ~
instructions ~
this one is from 1982 ~
but in later years we switched to playing this party edition ~
simply because of the ease of the rotating board, & also tiles don't lose their place when bumped ~
