long post ~
toys that remain Lost today ~
this was toxic's favorite lunchbox ~
tin aladin early 70's era dr seuss ~
with the grinch, horton the elephant, the sneeches & the cat in the hat ~
i see it on ebay here & there but it's pretty pricey so i'm holding out to possibly find one in a collectible shop someday ~
this swingarounder gym playset was a toxic favorite toy since toxic was always climbing all over her vintage 50's backyard swingset ~
also early 70's era but fairly rare, i've only seen one once in a shop.. should've snagged it when i did! ~
from mattel it came with this skipper doll which became toxic's favorite doll, her hands fit the bar & swings so she could hold on like toxic on the rings at her school playground ~
she played with skipper, swam with her, took baths with her, & yet she was so worn & grubby that i recall her as having dark hair like toxic, not blonde & new like this..lol! (well, we did play land of the lost a lot in a dirtpile beside the back porch with a basket made of popsicle sticks to escape unfriendly dinosaurs..) ~
toxic also had this malibu skipper doll ~
& malibu ken who lost his leg & her little brother threw it up on the backyard patio roof where she didn't discover it for years.. all those years of ken's disability, then he had his bleached white leg returned! ~
toxic liked to climb up onto the roof of just about anything ~
another favorite lost toy was this li'l polly puff playhouse set, also early 70's era ~
toxic had this set up on a cardtable in the corner of the diningroom with toys stacked on top.. it was a great place to hide when stealing a spoonful of frosting from the refrigerator ~
it came with a li'l polly puff doll & inflatable furniture ~
there was also a bed ~
this was the suitcase toxic had & used for sleepovers ~
along with this beloved sesame street sleeping bag ~
i miss this, i'd use it now..lol ~
again i'm borrowing a lot of pictures from the internet i've collected today ~
there's grover & cookie monster getting a midnight snack ~
toxic also got this animal yacker lion plush toy for xmas of 1969
these little guys are all i have left of a little ice-cream stand playset toxic had that i cannot find any information on at all.. if anyone recognizes them or remembers the maker or original name please let me know in the comments, i'd really appreciate it :) ~
this was my bad, i mistakenly put out my early 80's era visible head model in pieces in a bag at a yardsale many years ago & have regretted it ever since.. when assembled mine served as a handy hatstand for many years & i miss him.. turns out this model is particularly rare & i can't find him again :( ~
all i have left is this cutout picture from the original box ~
status on all of these items is ~ Lost..

Hi;
Yes, I had that ice cream stand and have looked for it (or even a photo) for years! I have the boy figure and a tray with two ice cream sodas on it. Similar figures are made by Ideal and I have seen near complete playsets made by Ideal with the same figues, but never the ice cream stand. Glad someone else remembers it. How can I contact you? Laura
