leading up to xmas i wanted to devote a few posts to my favorite xmas toys (this is toxic with baby brother way back in 1970..) ~
for xmas 1969 santa came through with this awesome vintage plastic mod rod kiddie pedal car for toxic ~
i loved my modrod & rode in it everywhere, but unfortunately i've never been able to track one down.. status: Lost ~
by the time toxic started school our covetous little brother set about wrecking the modrod in her absence! ~
awwww! stupid smelly boys! they used the modrod to crash into with their own vehicles! ~
the boys also ruined my cool new crazy car on the very first day! ~
i can see myself riding this around portland.. ~
i would be happy just to find any old ads, photos or info on the modrod if anyone comes across it?..
bren
Oh no, Bren! Thanks for the link to this in your other message. I hadn't seen this post of yours before! Both of those, that Modrod car and other Crazy car, look like so much fun. I'm sure both would be hard to track down in decent condition, but you never know! I never had anything like this as a kid. You and I both have too many memories of toys being ruined by others!

yeah, due to their size i really only look for old ads, you know.. sometimes i find an old toy i had & that's good enough, if it's pricey i take a picture & feel like i 'got it back' anyway.. :)

I tried to do a search for you to see if I could come up with anything for you, you know like a pair of fresh eyes?, but I don't see anything at all! Cute pics and stuff with that Crazy Car though but not your pedal car! I wonder who made it? Have you found any information at all on it?
