american girls doll ~ penny

so i've been posting about toxic's favorite xmas toys of old, but some of my favorite toys i received as xmas gifts in adulthood ~

like penny, my american girls doll ~

for xmas 1999 santa brought me this american girls today doll which is made to your own specifications ~

which is why she looks & dresses just like someone i know ~

i named her penny but most ag fans would probably recognize her as being molly from the ag stories, just in modern clothes ~

i've kept her in mint condition in this american girls trunk (that was originally designed for samantha..) ~

the trunk is a luxury as i recall it being pretty pricey at the time in 1999 ~

the old receipts ~

she's such a favorite of mine ~

penny has kitties ~

from ag pleasant company ~

ag photo frame & box ~

the trunk holds all penny's stuff with its drawers & hangers ~

including penny's own journal ~

as well as her art supplies since she likes to draw & paint ~

complete with real grumbacher paints ~

sketches & watercolors ~

& penny loves the outdoors ~

so she keeps her backpack ready for adventures ~

orienteering set ~

accessory booklet ~

includes working lantern, binoculars, water bottle & compass ~

& first aid kit & trail map ~
