the big gumbys

i once had the opportunity to buy a positively humongous gumby plush from someone who won him in atlantic city, but as it turned out, shipping would've been the equivelent in cost to bringing home a deceased loved one.. lol.. so i had to draw the line on my gumby collecting there ~

of all the gumby's in my toy room the inflatables are the largest, here's a vintage 80's 6' tall gumby that made a personal appearance at my son's 3rd birthday many years ago ~

his sidekick the bop toy has pokey on the inside, i've never seen a second one of these, they must be pretty rare ~

a patch kit, just in case ~

Is that you getting the bop toy? If so, that's amazingly cool. I think I had one of these when I was a sprite too.

actually that's my older sister (no longer with us) & my son when he was tiny <3 he got to play with all the gumby stuff first of course, before they became collectibles ;) i'm the dark-haired one on the gumby collection page at gumbyland, usually with my son too!
