heyyy! it's the fonz! remember when this was cool? was it mork from ork with his rainbow suspenders with buttons that started the button craze in the 70's? i know it's what started toxic on her first collection, pins & buttons, & she also wore them on rainbow suspenders ~
toxic herself with a friend in the swimming pool ~
one of the first items i posted here at the lost & found was toxic's first button.. i'll be posting a glut of vintage pins & buttons all through august ~
then there were school spirit buttons, these are from toxic's jr high ~
i was friends with the kid who designed this tumbleweeds themed button for our school, he got permission from the artist, tk ryan.. back when native americans were still mascots & referred to as indians ~
vintage snoopy pin ~
as kids we all lined up & waited for hours to see 'the hulk' at a local mall, thinking it'd be lou ferigno himself.. they said he was giving out signed pictures.. i still remember how disappointed my little brother was to find out it was only a guy in a hulk costume handing out these pins! ~
now this vintage rainbow happy face pin has a different significance ~
vintage peace sign ~
toxic's high school ~
high school camp button ~
possibly toxic's favorite old happy face button, non-conformist happy face ~
vintage little rascals, alfalfa & butch ~

I'm pretty sure I gave away/sold my Fonz button like yours, Bren. Not sure why I didn't keep it like I did so many others that I still have somewhere.
