gumby bendys & bittys

although i am irish, i must say when i think of green i think of gumby! so for this st pat's day (since it's my 1000th item!) i'm posting up some classic gumby bendy & bitty toys ~

i've rescued many an old gumby from yardsales over the years.. (some of these i found recently are still a bit grubby) but i just clean them up & welcome them home to gumbyland ~

i've been looking back at my bendies & wanted to mention i especially like the odd smaller prema bendy pictured here at the end of my post.. he is shorter than regular bendies of his era & most resembles his baseball outfit friend, with his big hands & stubby head.. interestingly he is the only bendy i found that is looking to his left until the nj croce bitties came out :)
i only have one of these so he's kinda unique to me..
