in the prema spirit i'd like to devote the rest of february to posting gumby items ~
starting with this book ~

all your favorite gumby characters are here & there are some interesting new ones too ~
holly is art clokey's step-daughter & the voice of gumby's sister, minga ~
as host of gumbyland i've had the pleasure of corresponding with her by email ~
her illustrations are lots of fun & have the feel of the newer gumby adventures & movie that she's largely responsible for ~
with the nostalgic elements of the original gumby adventures for vintage fans like me ~
i just love this table scene ~
at the time i got this copy of the book it was not quite finished yet, which is why the fire engine has not been illustrated yet ~
holly was kind enough to sign my copy too ~
in loving memory of gloria harman clokey (who is art's second wife & holly's mom) ~
gloria was in charge of the newer gumby adventures & the voice of goo ~
i notice holly has a new interesting book out that i'll have to check out ~
