what's more fun than a barrel of monkeys ~
a giant vintage barrel of monkeys! ~
from 1966, these were made by lakeside, the company that made gumby superflex toys ~
these are some big monkeys ~
the barrel is about a foot tall ~
maker's mark ~
or you could just play with the standard barrel of monkeys ~
these are still considered vintage from the 80's & 90's ~
toxic always loved playing with these ~
basically you just take turns stringing them together without letting them fall ~
the trick is that the monkeys have a curvier hand & a pointier hand ~
toxic figured out that you'll do well if you always try to use the pointier hand to do the picking up ~
these later ones were made by hasbro ~
i like this green barrel too ~
with green monkeys ~
how about a tiny one ~
this miniature version is a key clip ~
full of teeny tiny little monkeys ~
which makes for a much more challenging play ~
a classic toy ~
