it's a fun old tradition to read fortunes at your halloween party ~
of course you can always just rely on an all seeing eye such as this 8 ball styled one ~
reading tea leaves is another way ~
the taltos fortune telling teacup helps with that ~
the saucer has all the signs of the zodiac ~
& the inside of the teacup has several different symbols ~
snake, heart, key etc ~
fortunately there's a guide to help ~
by parksmith 1970 ~
directions for reading ~
funny, my family background is english enough we still call kitchen towels tea towels, even though i never take tea.. (i prefer decaf) ~
but essentially once you've had your tea you swirl it around & upturn your teacup ~
& the way the dregs lie inside the cup tell your fortune ~
the saucer has its own significance ~
what's your sign? ~
i'm a cancer, also known as a moonchild ~
horoscopes & such are often so general as to be useless they say, but it's fun when you get a starchart done to your exact time & location of birth ~
then it seems my starchart is way too accurate to be meaningless ~
actually there's some basis in reality to some of this stuff ~
made in england ~
jon anton ironstone ~
you could even rely on reading your aura ~
vintage probably 70's era ~
we all have auras.. it seems mine is green & crystal with a red overlay? ~
my father could occasionally see peoples' auras ~
these special glasses might help ~
divining rod ~
planchette ~
the mystic eye & illuminated message board ~
order forms ~
