no list of classic nes games would be complete without wizardry ~
on nes from nexoft ~
the box ~
& the game guide ~
wizardry was the granddaddy of all rpgs ~
with its 10 story maze full of trapdoors & tricks ~
i was fortunate enough to have this larger more comprehensive guide to help me ~
proving grounds of the mad overlord ~
i used to play this game out in my old camper & my little son would come in to see ~
forget little golden books, he always would find this guide to look at instead ~
he would ask me about all the creatures pictured in it ~
his fascination was especially about the undead & he'd ask me about them over & over ~
although i explained how these were imaginary creatures of course that didn't matter a bit ~
& it led to a lifelong fear of zombies! ~
but he also turned out to be an even more voracious rpg gamer than i am.. lol ~
maps & questions ~
this game is a true classic even with its simple original graphics ~
what was especially nice about it was your ability to create your own characters & classes etc ~
