another vintage rand mcnally tip top elf book ~
pets from 1954 by anna ratzesberger with illustrations by elizabeth webbe ~
it was pet day at school ~
my hubby & my best friend both had pet ducks.. they were adorable, i remember taking them to school where they followed us down the halls, but they are very messy ~
of course i am a cat person ~
although i have enjoyed having birds, fish, hamsters & even a horse when my sisters took care of one ~
i've had a few dogs & a bunny too ~
toxic's parakeet peet would ride on the back of a little toy dump truck (it helped to fill it with birdseed..) ~
