grossett & dunlap from 1965 ~
toxic read them all ~
the hidden staircase & the mystery at lilac inn ~
that was a lot of trips to the library on her bike ~
nancy's mysterious letter & the message in the hollow oak ~
toxic was a bookworm & would fill her backpack with all the books she could carry ~
the witch tree symbol & the mystery of the 99 steps ~
she also read many other mystery books from scholastic books to agatha christie ~
the invisible intruder ~
this style of grossett & dunlap book is more contemporary ~
'you are in my power & must help me!' the medium whispered ~
there surely wouldn't have been scooby doo mysteries if not for nancy drew & the hardy boys ~
the wishmaster's key by franklin w. dixon ~
toxic also read all of the hardy boys mysteries ~
actually carolyn keene & frank dixon were pseudonyms, there were several different writers for the different stories ~
this is a modern reproduction of the original hardy boys the tower treasure mystery ~
from applewood books ~

a good resource for all things nancy drew ~
there was also a tv series based on the stories that toxic used to watch in the 70's, it starred parker stevenson & shaun cassidy & toxic was a shaun cassidy fan at the time..
