on the 9th day of xmas my toy room gave to me 9 gumby vhs tapes ~
including some good vintage 80's vhs from family home entertainment ~
with original episodes & original sound ~
when the original gumby adventures eventually came on the nickelodeon channel the sound was redone ~
i'm oldschool & prefer the original soundtrack best ~
holiday episodes ~
gumby's incredible journey features the moon episodes, some of toxic's favorites ~

in the dough is one of my favorite episodes & is included on this tape.. of course i did a painting of that one too, storyboard style ~
original gumby adventures had a charm & pleasantness that has been lost in children's tv nowadays.. & the show tapped into a childlike imagination & creativity in a unique way ~

nopey is gumby's little doggy friend who can only say no ~
this one from good times video includes the kachinas ~
of course i did a painting of gumby & the kachinas too ~
little hopi is another of my favorite gumby characters (he reminds me of toxic..) ~
gumby's supporting cast includes prickle, an artist & my favorite gumby character ~
other characters include pokey, prickle, goo, the blockheads & professor kap ~
