alice in wonderland

vintage edition of alice in wonderland & through the looking glass ~

my favorite alice illustrations are still the original ones by victorian artist john tenniel ~

this book is from 1977 ~

when toxic was very small she used to sneak into great grandma's closet & look at an old copy of alice in wonderland with these illustrations.. they really freaked her out, especially the long-necked alice & the duchess with the baby! ~

of course it only made her curiouser & curiouser ~

& led to a lifelong fascination ~

toxic had a lot in common with alice ~

which dreamed it?

everything alice continues all month..
