& other prehistoric reptiles ~

i have a couple different copies of this vintage giant golden book ~

the older one says golden press inc & the newer one says western publishing, both copyright 1960 ~

this is one of toxic's favorite old books ~

you can see it in the back of this picture of toxic with her first grade class teacher, miss zell ~

miss zell taught us all about dinosaurs, each week we'd learn about a new kind of dinosaur ~

we had a cool class diorama of a swamp & each week we'd add the new dinosaur figure to it ~

after we'd learned it's name & colored pictures of it & written a bit about it in class ~

i've kept an interest in dinosaurs ever since miss zell's class ~

diplodocus, triceratops, brontosaurus, brachiosaurus.. they're like childhood friends ~

so yes, i'm a dinosaur geek ~

this book still has the very best dinosaur illustrations, in my opinion ~
