i feel fortunate to have grown up in the la area, & to have raised my own son there, because for one thing we've been to the various themeparks too many times to count.. what's most nostalgic to me are memories of days spent at disneyland or knott's berry farm in the off-season when we practically had these places to ourselves.. these vintage postcards & ephemera are from the early 70's ~
knott's map includes gypsy camp & lagoon, & toxic remembers feeding the seals, the goat on the roof in fiesta village, & attending birthday parties in the old macdonald's farm area..
as kids our summer daycamp took us to knott's every summer..
ride the train through disneyland to see these vintage dinosaurs before they go extinct!
toxic loves dinosaurs ~
the bates house at universal studios..
there's a bunch more in my album here ~
